5:00 my team mates gather together in the dungeons for the first time since camp, we all meet our new coaches that will challenge us to our fullest ability. Coach McNulty gives us a look at what our team is going to look like this year. Before we left the class room, he made us a promise that he wouldn't run us out of anger, but that he would only run us when we did good things, for that conditioning on this team was a privilege and only those who work hard get to run hard.
5:30 We warmed up and stretched and ran plays until coach was satisfied, he called us in and told us that we did a good job, and with a smile on his face he said that we were going to get the chance to become champions, we had the privilege to do overtime winters, for those of you that don't know what an overtime winter is , it's a drill that involves the daunting task of sprinting from one side of the field to the other to perform not so complicated tasks but tiresome, there are five different stages that we must complete, lasting close to five minutes each.
6:30 we have our water break and its off to individual offense, we work hard for about an hour and once again its conditioning time. Coach is happy with our practice and decides that he will only make us sprint five seconds and walk ten seconds, we ran for about fifteen minutes. After running we got a break and jogged off the field ... it was a great first day of practice with the best coaching.
