Game recap - Naselle dominates Seattle Lutheran

NASELLE - The Comets totally and unequivocally dominated Seattle Lutheran in their Homecoming non-league football game 57-6 Saturday at Reuben Penttila Field in Naselle. Coach Jeff Eaton said, "All 29 of our guys got into the game and all of them played well. I was especially pleased with our offensive line and we played very good defense, too. Our coaches (Paul Wirkkala, Matt Scrabeck and Francis Fabela) have done a fantastic job and it showed today."

Last season the Saints dumped Naselle 22-19 in Seattle and the Comets avenged that loss with a 34-7 victory in the state playoffs. Saturday it was no contest as two of the Lute's first three plays resulted in losses and after they punted Naselle marched 78 yards in nine plays, capped off by Logan Scrabeck's 15 yard scamper for a touchdown and Leonel Mendoza's kick for point.
