Comets roll

For the first in many years the Comets defeated the Raymond Seagulls last night 28-13. With the addition of Tony Fletcher, Ollie Baker, and my brother Kyle back from a first game injury, we were able to rack up 28 points in the first half. Tony Fletcher was running wild with big yardage plays and a punt return for a touchdown. Kyle's passing game was on target as I caught a few long passes and Gabe See caught one for a TD.
Right before half time Raymond was able to return a punt for a touchdown as we had only 10 guys on the field due to miscommunication.
The second half we were able to drive the ball but were unable to punch it in for a touchdown. Raymond scored in the third quarter but we were able to stop them from getting any closer.

This coming week we will be preparing for the Valley Vikings, who are ranked seventh in the state.
