Naselle player posts - Week 6

The Comets quickly worked out the effects of a long bus ride to dismantle the NWC Navigators last night. The Navs had the first touchdown and the last touchdown but the Comets sandwiched 47 points in between to get the W.

With the addition of 4 players we were close to full strength and it showed. Manny Lopez had a great game at defensive end and at left tackle as well. Logan Scrabeck continues to wow us with his shredding capabilities. Jesus Martinez ran back a punt return for a TD. Jon Hines showed some skills after catching a pass and running it in for a touchdown. Big Al Erickson had mega tackles and nice yardage for another great game. Robert Eaton was a defensive power house with 11 tackles.

After last week's defeat to Valley we were determined to stay focused and get back to our winning ways. Our next game is at home against Seattle Lutheran. It is a Saturday afternoon game at 2pm.

See you there.
